The House Game and Fisheries Committee, chaired by state Rep. Keith Gillespie (R-York County), will host a public hearing on Sunday hunting, which is illegal in Pennsylvania. The Senate passed legislation in June that would allow three days of Sunday hunting each calendar year, including one during rifled deer season and one during statewide deer archery season.
Testifiers include representatives from the Keystone Trails Association, PA Farm Bureau, PA Federation of Sportsmen and Conservationists and National Rifle Association.
This Tuesday, Sept. 10, 1 p.m.
Room 60, East Wing, State Capitol
The hearing may be viewed on Chairman Gillespie’s website, RepGillespie.com
